We need volunteers to serve as Executive Officers and Board Members for our Homeowners Association.

At our annual summer meeting on July 8th, we will be electing Executive Officers for our Homeowners Association and members for the Board of Directors. Most, if not all, of the current Executive Officers will be resigning as they have served more than their fair share of time in these and other HOA positions. It is time for others to step up. This is a volunteer Association and we need members to volunteer to serve. One must be a member in good standing with the Association (ie. paid dues) and willing to offer his or her time and vision to continue to enhance the value and quality of our Community.

The Board meets twice a year prior to each General Meeting and communicates during the year regarding Community items of interest.

We live in a great Community that provides wonderful opportunities for all family members. Please read the position descriptions below and seriously consider volunteering to serve your HOA and Community.


Your KRHOA Board of Directors

The President shall be the chief executive officer of the
Association and shall preside at all meetings of the Members and of the Board. The
President shall have executive powers and responsibility for general supervision over the
affairs of the Association, including but not limited to the power to appoint committees
from among the Members to assist in the conduct of the affairs of the Association.

The Vice President shall take the place of the President
and perform all of the duties of the President whenever the President is absent or unable
to act. The Vice President shall also perform such other duties as may be requested from
time to time by the President or the Board.

The Secretary shall: (a) issue notices of all meetings of the
Members and the Board; (b) attend and keep the minutes of such meetings; (c) have
charge of all of the Association’s books, records and papers, including the Member list;
and (d) perform such other duties as the President or the Board may request from time to

The Treasurer shall safeguard and have custody of, and shall
keep full and accurate account of, all receipts and disbursements of the Association, in
books belonging to the Association, and shall deposit all monies and other valuable
effects in the name of and to the credit of the Association in such depositories as the
Board may designate. All books of account shall be kept on a consistent basis in
accordance with generally accepted accounting practices. The Treasurer shall also
perform such other duties as the President or the Board may request from time to time.

The Board shall have all powers necessary and shall be responsible for the administration of the affairs of the Association, and may do all such acts and things as are not by law, by the Articles, or by the Bylaws directed to be
exercised solely by the Members.

Kohl’s Ranch Neighborhood Cleanup Day 2017


Each year a group of Kohl’s Ranch neighbors from both sides of the creek miraculously appears on the morning of the clean-up day (around 7:00 or 7:30 AM) to collect the bags, transport them to the local burn pit, and cut open and empty the bags – as many trips as it takes! 

So join in the fun.  Save the date.   Put on your oldest, dirtiest shirt and pair of jeans and become part of what makes our community special and makes it look so neat.  Just look for the trucks and trailers on the roads and contribute a little of your Saturday morning.
